Acceptable use
These rules apply to everyone who uses ApplyOnBehalf. They are part of the Terms of Service.
The rules
- Your own search. Use ApplyOnBehalf for your own job search. Do not submit another person’s profile, resume, or contact details, and do not connect a mailbox you are not authorized to use.
- Accurate information. The career history, contact details, work authorization, and documents you give us must be true. Do not ask us to add employers, titles, dates, degrees, licenses, or skills you did not earn.
- Lawful use. Do not use the service to break the law, to mislead an employer or recruiter, or to send malware, unlawful content, or abusive content.
- Mailbox use. A connected Gmail account is for job and recruiter mail about your search. Do not use that connection to read or send mail that is unrelated to the search, or to send spam.
- Our systems. Do not probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass the site, the account system, or another client’s data.
- Respectful conduct. Do not harass our team, employers, recruiters, or anyone else through the service.
- Account security. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. Tell us if you believe the account or a connected mailbox has been compromised.
If a rule is broken
We may refuse a submission, pause the search, or end the account if these rules are broken. Ending the account does not cancel a placement fee that has already been earned under the Placement Fee section.
The same rules appear in the Terms of Service. Questions go to support@applyonbehalf.com.
